White smoke and coolant disappearing, think I know the answer

Well I think my luck finally ran out with my 2013 328i. Started noticing a puff of white smoke on startup a couple weeks ago but it would clear up, now it's happening more often and I'm topping off the coolant every few days. No visible leaks anywhere so I'm pretty sure the head gasket is done. A friend said I should just dump some stop leak in there and sell it but I've had this car for six years and honestly I'd rather fix it properly if it's not totally destroyed. I'm trying to find a shop that does Abu Dhabi Head Gasket Replacement without charging a fortune but also actually knows what they're doing because I've heard horror stories about people getting their cars back with warped heads or worse than before. Has anyone been through this on the N20 engine? Should I be looking at just the gasket or is it almost guaranteed the head needs machining at this point? Also any ballpark what I should expect to pay would really help so I don't get taken advantage of. Really dreading this but I can't keep driving it like this.
