I'm starting to stress a bit about my V8 Vantage. It's been running great for the most part, but recently I've noticed a slight shudder when pulling away from a stop, and there's a faint whine from the rear that I'm pretty sure isn't normal tire noise. I've read about some common issues with the Touchtronic gearbox and the diffs on these cars, and I really want to catch it early before it turns into a major bill . The thing is, I don't trust just any garage with it. I live in Umm Suqeim and I know there are some high-end workshops around, but I'm always wary of places that claim they can work on anything but don't really know the specifics of the AMG V8 or the electronics. I've heard that finding a Professional Aston Martin repair centre for drivers in Umm Suqeim is the key to getting it sorted properly, with specialists who actually have the factory diagnostic gear and see these cars every day . I'm leaning towards one of the independent specialists in Al Quoz as I've heard they can offer dealer-level care for a more reasonable price, but I'd rather go somewhere that's been personally recommended by another owner. Has anyone here had a similar experience with their Vantage or DB11 and found a workshop they actually trust? I don't mind driving a bit further for peace of mind, I just want to get this issue properly diagnosed and fixed without any of the usual guesswork.
