My mother recently admitted that she had been feeling overwhelmed by all the little responsibilities she had to manage during the week. Nothing seemed especially difficult on its own, but preparing meals, keeping up with the house, handling errands, and remembering appointments had started to feel like too much when everything came together. Instead of waiting until she became completely exhausted, our family talked with her about which tasks she would feel comfortable getting help with. While exploring home care Oklahoma City, we started considering support that could take some pressure off her while still allowing her to remain involved in her daily decisions. It made me realize that recognizing when someone is overwhelmed and offering practical help early can make a big difference.
